Twin Arrows trading Post being a popular landmark on Route 66 is full of history. The Troxell Family owed Twin Arrows from 1955 to 1985 the stories told by Jean Troxell and Family are priceless not to mention their long time employee Ruth Drye. Both Jean and Ruth are 90 years old this year, both are living history. This year the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona and The Hopi Tribe are working together to restore the buildings. We look to create an outdoor market place with a staging area for Native Dance and activities it will empower an "Indian Marketplace at Twin Arrows" that will make a conduit to have tourist visit Hopi Land.
Twin Arrows is now operated by "The Hopi Tribe". Together with Route 66 Historical association they are looking to Renew and Restore the old buildings. Bring life back to the Trading Post. How Can You Help: We can use your help, Donations; Ideas let us hear from you. "tax deductible" donations should be sent to the:
